Suraj Valand

Head of Manager Research & Selection

Suraj Valand is responsible for Fund Manager Research & Selection and Multi-Manager Portfolios at Saranac Partners.

Prior to joining Saranac Partners in 2016, Suraj worked at Barclays where his most recent role was Head of Alternatives Portfolio Management. Suraj began his career in 2005 within the alternatives research team at a Middle Eastern Multi-Family Office focusing on hedge funds and venture capital.

Suraj holds the CAIA qualification and level I of the CFA and graduated from CASS Business School with a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science.
