Richard Urwin

Richard Urwin, Chairman of Saranac Partner’s Investment Committee, supports the CIO in defining and implementing the investment frameworks used at LVAM to manage client assets, including asset allocation, security selection and the selection of external managers.

Prior to joining Saranac, he was Head of the Outsourced CIO function at BlackRock in Europe, managing $80bn of assets. He was previously Head of Economics & Asset Allocation at Gartmore Fund Managers, and an Economist at Warburgs, the Investment Bank.

Richard has a BA and an MA in economics, an MBA, and an MA and MRes in philosophy.
